Job Description:
The primary objective of an Account Officer is to oversee a company's financial records, adapting duties to the organization's size and industry. Responsible for managing transactions, verifying vendor bills, and conducting month-end and year-end close processes, they also handle accounts payable, track expenses, and manage Petty Cash accounts. The role involves tailoring financial management to the unique needs of each company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently allocate, post, reconcile, and verify a variety of transactions.
- Thoroughly validate bills from vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct the month-end and year-end closing processes with precision.
- Oversee and manage accounts payable for the organization.
- Methodically track and document organizational expenses.
- Take charge of the management of Petty Cash accounts.
- Generate comprehensive monthly accounting reports and summarize results.
