Job Description:

The primary objective of an Account Officer is to oversee a company's financial records, adapting duties to the organization's size and industry. Responsible for managing transactions, verifying vendor bills, and conducting month-end and year-end close processes, they also handle accounts payable, track expenses, and manage Petty Cash accounts. The role involves tailoring financial management to the unique needs of each company.
 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently allocate, post, reconcile, and verify a variety of transactions.
  • Thoroughly validate bills from vendors and suppliers.
  • Conduct the month-end and year-end closing processes with precision.
  • Oversee and manage accounts payable for the organization.
  • Methodically track and document organizational expenses.
  • Take charge of the management of Petty Cash accounts.
  • Generate comprehensive monthly accounting reports and summarize results.
     




Required Skills

Education:

  • Bachelors

Experience:

  • 1+ year of relevant experience.

Skills Required:

  • Basic Accounting Software
  • MS-Excel (Must)
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree
  • At least 1 year of experiance
