Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts officer to support the Accounts & Finance department in daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong Microsoft Excel skills, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records and reports.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and issuing customer invoices.
• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting records.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, and journal entries.
• Maintain expense records and supporting documentation.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and update spreadsheets, trackers, and financial reports.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and customer payments.
• Support payroll data preparation and record maintenance.
• Organize and maintain financial files and documentation.
• Assist with month-end reporting and audit requirements.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, BBA, or a related field.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Fresh graduates to 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Internship experience in Accounts or Finance will be an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF Functions, SUMIFS, and spreadsheet management.
• Good understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain financial records.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar systems.
• Basic knowledge of invoicing, reconciliations.
