Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts and Audit Executive to join our team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in Excel, along with a solid understanding of audit concepts and practical experience in both accounts and audit functions. Experience in inventory audit is considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular audits of inventory levels, particularly focusing on fuel inventory, across multiple locations. Utilize various auditing techniques to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies related to fuel inventory management. Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
• Generate and analyze Statistical Inventory Reconciliation (SIR) reports to reconcile fuel inventory discrepancies. Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Utilize statistical methods and software tools to interpret data accurately.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions. Maintain accurate documentation of audit activities and results for regulatory compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement in inventory management. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in inventory control processes.
• Communicate audit findings, compliance status, and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including management, regulatory authorities, and external auditors.

Required Skills

Skills:

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance
• ACCA/CA finalist preferred
• Proficient understanding of ERP, Quickbooks, Xero, GAAP, IFRS, and Excel
