Job Summary

The Academic Associate plays a vital role in promoting academic excellence among boarders through personalized academic support, close progress monitoring, and effective coordination with teachers, parents, and Superintendents (PABA/MGA). The role focuses on improving student performance, mentoring boarders, and ensuring consistent implementation of learning plans.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject-specific tutoring and support to address students’ learning gaps and strengthen understanding.
  • Develop and implement individualized academic plans to help students achieve performance targets.
  • Coordinate regularly with teachers, parents, and Superintendents (PABA/MGA) to monitor academic progress.
  • Maintain detailed academic records and progress reports; share updates with the Academic Coordinator.
  • Monitor homework, assignments, and projects to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Organize academic events such as quizzes, competitions, and workshops.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of students’ notebooks and coordinate with teachers for necessary improvements.
  • Mentor students to build motivation, discipline, and strong study habits.
  • Support the development of communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reinforce discipline and school values while fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development sessions and departmental meetings.
  • Assist in result tracking, report preparation, and other academic or administrative initiatives.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or English
  • B.Ed. or M.Ed. qualification
  • 2–3 years of teaching experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective leadership and proven management abilities
