Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Urdu Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the Urdu language, both written and spoken, and a commitment to fostering a love for language and literature among students. The Urdu Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall academic and cultural environment of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
  • Incorporate diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and levels.

Classroom Instruction:

  • Teach Urdu language courses at various levels, including grammar, literature, and composition.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Utilize technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience.

Student Assessment:

  • Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance and areas for improvement.

Classroom Management:

  • Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior in accordance with school policies.
  • Foster a respectful and supportive classroom culture.

Professional Development:

  • Stay updated on the latest educational trends and best practices in language teaching.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences.

Extracurricular Activities:

  • Organize and participate in cultural events, language clubs, and other extracurricular activities related to the Urdu language and culture.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Urdu, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: Prior teaching experience, preferably in Urdu language instruction.
