The Teacher Educator will be responsible for providing academic and professional support to the pre-primary teachers in the Regional School Development Unit (RSDU). Along with supervisory and mentoring support to the teachers, the Teacher Educator will also be responsible for conducting trainings, workshops and sessions for pre-primary teachers.
Required SkillsThe ideal candidate must have 16 years of education, preferably in the subject of Education. Professional degree like B.Ed is preferable. Six-months diploma in ECD/ECE/Montessori from a reputable institution is compulsory. S/he should also have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in pre-primary classes. The individual should have effective and strong communications, classroom management and interpersonal and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and ICT integration with teaching/learning is desirable.
