Job Summary

Reporting to Manager of Bio-medical, you will assist in day to day to operations and planning activities of the biomedical engineering department. You will also perform professional planning work, provides assistance to staff and participates in more difficult or complex planning functions.

Specifically, you will be responsible to;

  • contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice in department strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance

  • ensure that material scheduling strategy and processes are in place and work effectively to ensure material supply in warehouse to meets maintenance requirements with minimum inventory levels

  • overseeing inventory needs and undertaking office management and administration

  • assess volume requirements against planning assumptions

  • supervises and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the planning section

  • assists in developing and ensuring the uniform implementation of planning policies and procedures. Initiates efforts to streamline and improve department policies and procedures

  • assist Manager in reporting and alerts of high priority maintenance work order delays in ‘EAM’ on daily basis

  • assist Manager in reporting and alerts Sending report to manager of financial activities on weekly basis

  • coordinate with third party vendors for asset in/out and its warranty claims

  • generate MSR, PR, and ROP and continuously follow up with finance for timely payment to vendor and local suppliers

  • assist in department asset inventory enrollment in CMMS

  • provides service coordination and assistance to other Planning and Development sections and units

  • ensures that complaints from customers/users are addressed and resolved in a timely manner

  • assist in preparation of budget related activities.

Required Skills
  • Intermediate degree/ Diploma/DAE from an accredited college or university, with 4 years of related experience, have been supervisory or administrative; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience
