Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible to undertake project activities including, baseline and end line
surveys, Focus Group Discussions, In Depth Interviews, developing and training Community Workers (CWs) and supervising CWs counseling sessions with parents. RC will also be responsible for data entry, transcription, and any other assigned project activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Community workers in identifying mothers and children enrollment in the project.
  • Provide support in development of relevant training material and carryout appropriate trainings.
  • Conduct door-to-door baseline and end line surveys in the community on prescribed forms.
  • Ensure correct and accurate data collection and maintain record of data according to the SOPs.
  • Conduct data editing, data entry of survey forms on predesigned software.
  • Assist in Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and In Depth Interviews (IDIs) with various stakeholders.
  • Transcribe and organize the data collected from FGDs and IDIs.
  • Supervise counseling sessions of Community Workers on predesigned observation form
  • Coordinate and assist Research Specialist (Supervisor) for all project activities.
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

Educational Qualification

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferably Masters in Psychology from a reputable institution.

Project Period

  • 5 months

Relevant Experience

  • At least 5 years with Bachelors and 3 years of experience with Maters in mental health
  • Research projects in community setting.
  • Experience in training and supervising community workers in GB.
