Priority Valley is a multi-institutional programme to improve the socio-economic conditions of the community living in remote areas of Pakistan. It is coordinated by NC for Pakistan and a multi-stakeholder strategy has been developed to improve the quality of life of the institution through focused intervention for education, health, economic development and education. At the moment,community under Priority Valley, is focusing on strengthening institutional capacity, improving the infrastructure of the Community Centers, enhancing the quality of RE through realigning honorary human resources, honorarium-based teachers, training teachers, conducting youth education programmes and educate community in Nazirah-e-Qur’an.
Invites applications for the role of Quran and Ritual Facilitator based in Arkari Valley. This is a contractual position for the duration of Priority Valley and the contractual employment will conclude with the conclusion of Priority Valley. The individual will be responsible for providing training of Tajweed and Tafseer of Quran-to-Quran Teachers and Educators and ensure that each student successfully completes the Qur’an-e-Nazirah course through a formal RE system in the jurisdiction of Priority Valley in Arkari in collaboration with teachers and educators. S/He is also required to conduct Quran classes for Youth and community on a need basis and fulfills the need in the performance of rites of passage as and when assigned.
Required SkillsThe applicant’s minimum qualification should be intermediate or preferably graduate with 2-3 years of teaching experience in the Qur’an-e-Nazirah. The individual should have basic knowledge of Nazirah and Tajweed principles and good knowledge of the rites of passage.
