Programme Officer – Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Karachi @ Aga Khan Education Service Pakistan

Programme Officer will be responsible for the following:

• Designing, developing, and implementing various career development initiatives including seminars, workshops, and admission preparation classes for the students.
• Working closely with the Student Council to identify the educational needs of students and coordinate with school faculty and management to effectively address those needs.
• Providing leadership in the organization of various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities at school.
• Tracking the school alumni and engaging them in various school activities through a strong alumni programme.
• Organizing co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
• Assisting the Head of Student Affairs and Career Advisory Unit in building linkages with educational institutions and professional organizations within and outside Pakistan.
• Developing an internship programme and ensuring the placement of AKHSS, Karachi students in different organizations.
• Implementing a marketing plan and ensuring timely communications of school activities and achievements to stakeholders through various media.
• Student outreach and marketing activities at different schools via visits / online webinars.

The ideal candidate must have a master / bachelor’s degree preferably in Social Sciences or Business Management. Candidates with relevant experience shall be preferred. Computer skills in MS office & effective interpersonal skills are essential.
