Job Summary

Invites applications for the role of Finance Officer, for Gupis-Yasin. The successful applicant will be responsible for,

  1. Providing support to the supervisor in the proper execution of the regional programs, which include the release of finance, coordination with local boards and reporting to the concerned departments at National Office.
  2. Maintaining books of accounts, reconciliation of records, handling cash, dealing with all bank related transactions, preparing vouchers on a daily basis and collection of bills from local boards, and its financial book-keeping.
  3. Preparing and analyzing budget variance report and report the matter to his/her supervisor, in case of any deviation.
  4. Making available all necessary documents and papers at the time of internal and external audits.
  5. Rigorous compliance of the Institutional and Financial Policies.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate must be an ACCA/ ACMA part qualified or have a Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce or Business Administration from a recognized university along with minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the educational, social or development sector.

The incumbent must have experience of running general ledger software and have excellent command over MS Office. He/she will be able to work independently with a minimum level of supervision. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and report writing skills in English and Urdu and should be in the Age bracket of 25 to 40 years.
