Job Summary

The Aga Khan Education Services is looking for a Finance Officer – Finance Department - Central Support Service Office

  • The Finance Officer will be responsible for the following:
  • Preparing Income Tax (Staff & Vendors), Sales Tax & Professional tax challans
  • E-Filing of various direct and indirect, federal and provincial tax statements and returns that includes Income Tax, GST, ICT Tax, SST, PST, KST
  • Preparing various tax reconciliations and responses against notices
  • Stamp Duty calculation & submission with related compliances
  • Corporate Affairs (Statutory forms & Secretarial work)
  • Compliances related to NPO’s, AML, Sindh charity commission, Sindh Trust etc.
  • Interpretation of all applicable Laws on Organization & its Compliance
  • Have knowledge of software implementation and customization required thereon
  • Tasks related to Provident Fund Management (processing loans, full & final settlements, making investments, calculating products etc.)

Required Skills
  • The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, ICMA or ACCA qualified
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience at a reputable institution.
  • S/he should have effective communication, strong problem-solving, analytical ability, and strong command over MS Office,
  • Should be able to work efficiently under pressure.
