Job Summary

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and dynamic Driver at Central Office, Karachi.

Role and  Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport passengers or goods to designated locations.
  • Comply with all local traffic laws and the organization’s driving policies.
  • Ensure timely pick-up and delivery in accordance with the assigned schedule.
  • Maintain the vehicle’s cleanliness, both interior and exterior.
  • Conduct daily checks of engine oil, water levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights.
  • Immediately report any mechanical issues or need for service.
  • Accurately record mileage, fuel consumption, and travel details.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
  • Treat passengers and goods with respect and care.
  • Promptly report any accidents, incidents, or delays to the supervisor.
  • Ensure all vehicle-related documents (registration, insurance, license) remain updated.
  • Follow all safety measures during travel, including the mandatory use of seat belts.
  • Coordinate with the logistics or admin team for travel planning.
  • Avoid unauthorized travel and adhere to designated routes unless otherwise instructed.
  • Represent the organization in a courteous and professional manner during travel.
  • Strictly comply with the organization’s Code of Conduct and Safeguarding policies.
  • Support the organization’s net-zero objectives.
  • Adhere to Quality Assurance, SafeCare, and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Required Skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least Middle pass & Valid Driving License
  • Minimum 1 year of driving experience
  • Familiarity with local routes and traffic regulations.
  • Ability to drive safely in all weather and traffic conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to identify mechanical issues.
  • Physically fit with the ability to endure long-distance travel.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
  • Good communication skills and professional behavior.
  • Ability to navigate using GPS or Google Maps.
  • Honest, ethical, and reliable.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime, as required
